World Book Day: April 23, 2017

News

On occasion of the World Book Day people exchange books as gifts. Celebrate with us and trade in your old books.

The World Book and Copyright Day is a yearly event on April 23, founded in 1995 by the UNESCO, to promote the culture of books and reading, publishing and authors' rights.
Traditionally, on April 23 books are exchanged as gifts. At the Information Center, you can trade in used books and exchange them against others. You are about to give books to the "Brocki" or put them into the garbage bin? You can do better: From Monday, April 23, to Friday, April 28, you can bring them to the Information Center and if you want, take other books that were donated in exchange – no matter if fiction or non-fiction. The Book Day bookshelves are in front of the Information Center. Self service from 9 am to 6 pm!
